Great restaurant, excellent service, delicious, freshly prepared dishes and despite the large number of guests we got our food quickly! We have rarely eaten so delicious. Many many thanks!

Awesome authentic place. Great food and friendly service. A very pleasant room. However, there is a minus and this is a toilet. The toilet paper tank is overflowing, and hand napkins are scattered along the corridor as if someone was running away in a hurry. There is a cobweb in the toilet. Owners should take care of putting this important place in order.

Both dishes fish and meat were very well made! For sure a very good example of German cuisine! As well as very pleasant staff! Very good experience overall:)

We had the Kochelseefisch and a snack. It was really delicious! The service was also very friendly. We were very satisfied and can only recommend the rooms!

We had made a reservation and were then shown to our table on time. The ambience is very nice, everything is decorated in a minimalist way. The wood is reflected in the walls, on the floor and in the decorations, which creates a rural flair. The service was quick and friendly. Everything was very clean. The food was brought out quickly and was very delicious. The kitchen offers French classics alongside Bavarian home-style cooking. The portions were perfectly matched, nothing was too much or too little. A clear recommendation from me when you come to Kochel am See to eat in this wonderful room.

Taste and portions are standard. Unfortunately we had to wait twenty minutes before we could order the drinks. In the meantime, two guests left because it went too long for them. The table we sat down at was also not cleaned, which probably does not correspond to the current hygiene standard in any way. However, the service was not unfriendly, it was simply overwhelmed. And the food came right after the salad, so the stay was no longer despite the initial waiting time.

The tartare is way too fine and therefore tastes more like a spreadable sausage. The side salad was served without dressing. When asked, they wanted to bring a dressing and they apologized, but that was then forgotten. When we were almost finished with food, we were given our dressing without an apology.

One of the few places where you can eat around Herzogstand mountain. I had to wait around 20 min during lunch hours because they don't have too many tables. The service was fast, polite staff speaking English and the food was great, good prices.

The food was delicious and the staff very friendly and accommodating. We were happy to eat something different, because there is hardly any French cuisine in the region.

What a great Wiener Schnitzel - haven't eaten so good for a long time. The staff is incredibly warm and friendly. We felt very comfortable! The waiter's tip for a good, not so full bathing opportunity in the Kochelsee was perfect :-)

Around 25 euro per person including Drink. Salat is included in the main dish. The Kochelseefisch is very good, no doubts for that. Good pommes. I tried Blutwurst(blood sausage), that's beyond my expectation, it is made from blood, so it tastes quite different from the normal sausage, but it is delicious. Very friendly and welcoming service.

Really very great I can only recommend it. We have been here from Saarland. We were offered many inns, but this was definitely the right choice

friendly, tasty, good, toilets a bit old. But you go to eat and it is delicious. If you want to eat cheap, you better go somewhere else. The quality is worth the price.

Getting a table was impossible, waiting time unknown, staff unfriendly, incompetent and arrogant! Well, we didn't come to dinner, which the restaurant manager (or whatever the dirndl wearer) was probably very welcome. What else can I say about such behavior, except if you don't want to, you already have! There is only one consequence of this, namely the consistent avoidance of such an economy!

Nice restaurant with friendly and helpful staff, fast service. The exterior is cosy to sit down until the evening. Food quality is only mediocre and a bit too high in price in my opinion tough.

No value for the money, poor menu and poor service. I totally agree that one could get far better quality anywhere else in Bayern. The "Buntes Brotzeitbrettl" was a joke, directly from Aldi or Lidl! Do not trust the prices on the menu online; they are higher. This "stube" has probably seen much better days once upon a time...

Great restaurant even at the difficult times right now. Super nice service and the food was really great with ⭐️! Have eaten cheese spaetzle many times, but nowhere else have they been as good as here. When we are close again we look in again. ???

Food is too pricey for what it is. Staff is very nice and forthcoming. The food is ok but does not tastes at all. For these prices you can get far better quality elsewhere.

Great restaurant in Kochel. We tried both Bavarian and French dishes and liked them quite well. The soups we started with were excellent - both fish and pumpkin soup. The mains were very good as well. The sausages were nice, the Burger was excellent. Although the Schnitzel was good, it was not as crispy and golden brown from being pan fried in butter as we knew it from Vienna. And the Kaiserschmarrn was a little dry. But the restaurant has a nice wine selection and ample choices of beer to help out. We will certainly come back - the atmosphere is nice and the service was quick and super friendly.

Delicious food..

Luvly location, friendly service, food lousy. Schnitzel was pretty much just 2 mm thick and otherwise just breadcrumbs. Flammkuchen barely anything on it. One of the restaurants that doesn't include any salads or at least garnishes with their food.

The asparagus in aluminum foil with hollandaise sauce and boiled potatoes tasted wonderful! I was served nicely. Highly recommended!
